Grana Padano Cheese was first made by Lombardian monks in the 12th century. It is aged for a minimum 11 months and only wheels of cheese passing a stringent inspection process carry the Grana Padano seal. Celebrated for its delicate, scented taste, this hard cheese is delicious served grated over pastas and other entrees, as an hors d’oeuvre with aged balsamic vinegar and bread, or as part of a dessert plate with nuts and fruits.
